Removing the default games in GNOME 3 on Debian 10
I’m enjoying using GNOME 3, but I don’t need the 15 or so games which came bundled with it. I’m not going to play them, and they clutter up the list of applications.
Fortunately, they are very easy to remove:
apt remove gnome-games -y
I have seen a couple of older forum posts saying that this triggers removal of GNOME itself, because they form part of the GNOME metapackage. That didn’t happen to me.
